The Sea Horse

Description

Based on a tutorial on how to draw ponies the new My Little Pony way book I found.  I wanted to get some form of practice in.  You often don't see other variations of ponies in Equestria other than your normal Earth, Pegasus, Unicorn, and Alicorn types.  So here we have the Hippocampus.  Or just simple an actual sea horse.

EDIT 12-14-15: After a recommendation or two from the critique I got I went and made some fixes to the original drawing.  For one thing the sea horse's left leg (from OUR perspective) now doesn't feel so crooked.  And the bubbles now are coming out of both nostrils as if it is snorting.  And I got rid of the "scales".  Now I think it looks okay.  =)

It's quite good. The shading is impressive, as is the posing--it seems anatomically correct. The background looks good--I like the effect of the sunlight streaming through the water. The foreleg on the left looks a little lumpy, and--well, mangled. It lowers the quality of the whole drawing. Also, the bubbles by the muzzle look odd-- like they're all billowing out of one nostril. Realistically, it would be more symmetrical. The tail looks amazing. You could also erase some of the scales, make them look more individualized, but it's not a big deal. The biggest deal is the leg --you should fix that.
