Don't Believe It

This comic took me most of the day to finish. From sketch to the final color product you see.

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who just doesn't like the idea of Naruto spouting out that corny catchphrase in the English version. So here's MY ninja character, the eternal prick Daisuke, using one of his own "unique" brand of ninjitsus on the series's hero. This is not meant to offend the character, this is just for kicks and giggles.

As for how this came to be? My best friend, Nelson, and I were joking about Naruto the night before and then the comic idea just finally came to fruit this morning for me. I immediately went to work.

I know this is yet another picture that uses that comic halftone in it, but I like it! Gives some of my pictures a nicer touch to them.
